Performance of the SX230 HS is impressive. The image quality is excellent. The range of exposure modes make it very a desirable digital compact camera.
The GPS module works fine outdoors, but is not so good under cover.
The stereo sound quality is excellent when shooting Full HD movies. Battery life could be better and the pop-up flash should po-up a bit less often.
Overall - at a $150 reduction its a fine bargain !
